Beckmann, Jr., A.G., of O'Fallon, Missouri, died on Friday, October 24, 2008 at the age of 73. Loving husband of Leann Beckmann for 52 years; dear son of the late Adolph G. and Adele Beckmann; loving father of Joyce (Frank) Tesone, Dennis (Laura) Beckmann, Margie Hellweg, Shelly (Mark) Eberwein, and Bryan (Angie) Beckmann; proud grandfather of Johnny, Kristi, Shelby, Brett, Jacob, Garrett, Chase, Cydney and the late August G. Eberwein; dear brother of Marilyn Wagner and the late Lucille, Jerry and Bob; beloved brother-in-law of Mark and Tom Kelly, John Shelly and Peggy Beckmann. He was employed as a Pipefitter at Local #562 in St. Louis. He was a member of Assumption Catholic Church, O'Fallon, MO and Pipefitters Local #562. A.G. was inducted into the St. Louis Amateur Baseball Hall of Fame in 1986.
